  • Overview

    The District Fitness Coach will primarily support the District Manager as well as educate club-level Managers and Fitness Coaches on new and existing fitness offerings (ie GOLD’S STUDIO, GGX, 1:1) and be a certifying agent for Gold’s Gym.

    Responsibilities


    • Support District Managers on new and existing fitness programs

    • Educate Gold’s Gym Managers and Fitness Coaches on new and existing fitness programs

    • Provide support to DIstrict Managers  with fitness business growth and development feedback and insights

    • Lead the implementation of Gold’s Gym coaching curriculums

    • Be a certifying agent of Gold’s Gym for new and existing fitness offerings

    • Partner with National Support Center team members  to assess, design and implement strategies for all Gold’s Gym training platforms (i.e. GOLD’S STUDIO, GGX, and 1-on-1 coaching)

    • Actively participate in Gold’s fitness offerings (take classes, shadow 1:1 sessions, etc) to give feedback to coaches. (inspect what we expect)

    Qualifications


    • Willingness and ability  to travel out of district up to 50%  of the time as needed

    • Current certification from the NASM, ACSM, NSCA or ACE preferred

    • Current CPR /  AED certification

    • Willing to obtain other certifications as directed, and/or as position requires

    • Pass the practical and written portion of the Gold’s Gym Foundations Course

    • Bachelor’s degree in exercise-related field is preferred

    • Two years of professional experience in the fitness industry or at least one year as a Fitness Manager / STUDIO Head Coach preferred

    • Knowledge of, and up-to-date on current trends and techniques within the personal training arena of health and fitness

    • Excellent management, communication, and customer service skills

    • Results-focused, positive attitude with a passion for developing others

    • Ability to be flexible in an environment of change and innovation

    • Ability to  receive and provide coaching and development from peers and team leaders
